Make Sure It Looks Good

Use a crisp, clean, simple presentation format for a
professional looking resume. Just a bit of simple line work
and/or shading, done with standard word processing software
will do the trick. If you don’t have the aptitude for this,
there is most likely someone among your friends or in your
office who can help you achieve a professional presentation.
If not, seek professional advice. It won’t cost much for a
good simple layout, but it will make a world of difference
to the product.

6. Show What You Can Do Today

Focus, first and foremost, on your recent experience that
is most relevant to the position at hand. Less relevant
and/or dated experience should be either eliminated or
summarized in brief point form near the end of your resume.
When reviewing your resume information, a prospective
employer wants to know what you are doing now, what you
have done recently, and how that relates to the job
requirements of the post they are trying to fill.

7. Be A Straight-Shooter

Be completely honest.

You can amend the money jar game to benefit your savings if this is the case.

Instead of saving coins, move up to $1 bills for your money jar. In this scenario, you’ll be doing exactly what you have been doing, but you’ll be saving $1 bills instead of change. You don’t spend any $1 bills you receive, but any coins you receive are fine to use. That means all purchases have to be made with coins or large bills ($5, $10, or $20 dollar bills). At the end of the day, you place all your $1 bills into your savings jar. Since banks will not charge you anything to deposit $1 bills, you avoid the fees your would get for the change and save even more money than with coins.

If you think that changing the game will keep you from saving, another way to change the coins is to take them to your local post office and use them to buy stamps out of the vending machines there. By switching the coins for stamps, you get 100% value for your coins which is better than paying fees to have the coins switched to bills.

In the end it’s important to remember that coins are legal currency and you can get full face value for them by spending them a little at a time.

His work bridged impressionism, expressionism, cubism and more with a unique language understood by all lovers of beauty and truth. The enormous popularity of a simple vase of sunflowers attests to his power and sincerity.

Though Vincent was plagued by a serious mental imbalance and eventually took his own life, he left a body of over 2,000 canvases, painted in about a decade, as a living legacy. Whether they represent his portrayals of living fields of wheat or swirling stars, tender and thoughtful portraits of the peasants he loved or starkly vivid flowers in a simple vase, his works all bear his own stylistic imprint. Seen as a superb form of communication of the spirit, his work succeeded beyond his wildest dreams to comfort and console humanity through art. It is through his paintings, not his over-romanticized, beleaguered life, that he should be judged as the poet, prophet and master artist he was.

Do this enough and you should come out on top, right?

Well, not exactly. Timing the market is almost impossible to succeed at. Eventually, you will lose. There are some that win using market timing, but you have a good chance that it won’t be you.

A study by the Financial Analyst Journal compared the results between market timing and buy-and-hold strategies. The authors looked at data from 1929 to 1999. They looked at all six major US asset classes to see if market timing is effective when compared to buy-and-hold investing.

The study looked at several different market timing methods. And what they found was that sometimes it does work.

Properly is the key. You need a detailed implementation plan which will move you toward a future state and identifies the tools required, where they are required, when they are required and who is responsible to applying these tools and making the transformation from current state to future state. Without this plan, companies will end up making ‘point’ improvements and likely creating what we call ‘exciting chaos’. The ultimate goal is to improve your bottom line and customer satisfaction by increasing responsiveness to the client/customer, while at the same time, reducing cost and increasing quality.

What is Six Sigma?

Six Sigma is a very effective analytical tool for eliminating or reducing variation throughout the value stream. And without reducing variation, it is impossible to have flow. In order to effectively utilize this skill and tool, there must be a well-defined future state implementation plan. Without this plan, the six sigma experts will not have a clear idea what the overall plan or direction is for their organization and they won’t know what impact their efforts will have on the ‘system’ – they will only be limited to knowing they reduced the variation in that ‘point’ which someone identified needed to be fixed.

Keep in mind that most activities, within a value stream (both service, administration and production environments), can be classified as ‘non-value’.

These label printers are very cheap in both quality and cost, typically ranging from $10-20k depending on configuration, and are widely used throughout the private label water industry because of their low cost.

In sharp contrast, a quality label, i.e., one that looks like a top-shelf brand that you might find in your local gourmet grocery store, needs to be produced with professional-quality equipment using professional-grade printing equipment. There are three types of printing equipment that can produce a high-quality label.

1. Rotary offset lithography;

2. Flexography; and

3. High-quality digital presses.

For most smaller runs (under about 10,000 units), digital equipment offered by Heidelberg or HP is the most cost effective solution, but instead of $10-20k, the minimum equipment costs for these professional solutions range from $750k to $1.25M per station.

These facts are very important to understand when choosing a private label bottler ? because those who sell low-quality labels would have you believe that nothing better is available because of the short runs required by private label customers.

A OLYMPUS E-P1

Mix the prowess of a single-lens reflex (SLR)–including interchangeable lenses–with the simplicity of a classic point-and-shoot and you have this digital gem. There’s no traditional viewfinder on the brushed-aluminum body, but snapping 12.3-megapixel shots quickly by looking at the bright LCD screen is a cinch. And since the E-P1 takes stunning 720p video with crisp audio, it can double as a camcorder.

B CANON POWERSHOT SD7801S

For true value, an automated point-and shoot is the way to go. The SD7801S may be sleek and small, but its battery outlasts rivals twice its size. Set it on auto and you’ll always have the best lighting and be in focus. The camera also includes a cool face-detection timer that won’t take the shot until it sees all the faces in frame. And viewing recorded video is easy, thanks to the included mini-HDMI connector for direct connection to an HD-TV.

C NIKON D5000

Combining professional 12.3-megapixel image quality with split-second shutter response and continuous shooting at up to four frames per second, this is one high-tech toy you won’t tire of. The comfortable-to-hold design contours perfectly to your hand, and there’s an adjustable display (so you can hold the camera at almost any angle and still see what you’re shooting). There’s also Nikon’s first-ever HD video recording capability on a DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) camera.
